Housekeeping Mobile Kit is an iOS and Android app that integrates with your SiteMinder PMS subscription through the official SiteMinder API. Room status changes (dirty, clean, inspected, out-of-order, out-of-service) write back to the SiteMinder room grid in real time, so the front desk always sees an accurate picture. What differentiates the Kit from generic housekeeping tools is scale-appropriate design. Enterprise apps assume 200 rooms and a fifteen-person team split across floors; the Kit assumes a boutique of 12 to 80 rooms and a housekeeping team of two to six. That means: one screen shows every room on shift, priority is by arrival window rather than by floor, the photo checklist is per-room-type not per-floor, and the lost-and-found workflow uses a photograph plus a guest link back to the SiteMinder reservation rather than a paper log book. Native performance on iOS and Android, offline mode for stone-walled corridors, and a maintenance ticketing panel that assigns to the on-call handyman by SMS. Hotelminder pilot-tested the Kit at three canal-side boutique hotels in Amsterdam and Utrecht where WiFi coverage forced the offline mode into daily use.
