Distribution boosters Rate Reasoner for SiteMinder Channel Manager
A quiet, explainable pricing layer for hotels that dislike black-box revenue managers — every recommendation comes with a written reason.
Hotelminder is an independent advisory and a small, deliberate marketplace of add-ons for boutique hotels on SiteMinder. Every module in the shortlist has been vetted on real properties between 10 and 80 rooms across Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona and Vienna before it enters the store — so you don't have to be the pilot hotel.

Ten modules total in the store — these four are the ones a boutique General Manager tends to activate in the first quarter.
Distribution boosters A quiet, explainable pricing layer for hotels that dislike black-box revenue managers — every recommendation comes with a written reason.
Guest experience layer Turns SiteMinder GuestJoy into a bilingual concierge across WhatsApp and email, with hand-authored templates for boutique hotels.
Distribution boosters A featherweight booking form for boutique hotel websites — 38 KB, one script tag, rates read live from SiteMinder over the API.
Distribution boosters The strategic dashboard SiteMinder Insights never quite built — cost of distribution, real net ADR and pickup by segment.
Vetting takes six to twelve weeks. About one submission in five reaches the store. Here is what happens between them.
A Hotelminder advisor and the vendor spend 90 minutes on the operational fit: which boutique size class, which SiteMinder tier, which country's fiscal edge cases, what the module refuses to do.
The module runs on two paying boutique properties (never chains) for a minimum of two booking cycles. We track guest complaints, front-desk time cost and any silent data loss against a documented baseline.
The three-person advisory team reads the pilot report against a rubric: measurable revenue lift or hour saving, operational safety, honest failure modes, and a support desk that answers within one business day in English and French.
If it passes, the module enters the store with a written advisory note, the two-hotel pilot data, and a Hotelminder-authored implementation guide. If it fails, we send the vendor a specific written rejection.

Our previous revenue tool was excellent at pretending it was thinking. Every price it pushed had the same explanation: market signal. Two of my six front-desk staff had learned to ignore its recommendations by month four, because when a guest asked why the room rate had jumped by 40 euro overnight, "market signal" was not an answer they could give at reception.
Rate Reasoner writes a sentence for every price. My night auditor now reads that sentence into the morning briefing. The team has stopped disagreeing with the tool, because the tool has learned to explain itself. RevPAR is up 9 percent on shoulder days, but the honest gain is 45 minutes back to the desk per morning.
Sanne de Vries · General Manager, Herengracht Rooms, Amsterdam · 18 roomsBarcelona is a fiscal jurisdiction that punishes hotels who guess. The old process for issuing a corporate factura was: front desk fills a Word template, sends to accounts, accounts recomputes VAT, invoice arrives with the guest two days later. Three times a month we missed the mention obligatoire on the accommodation VAT split and had to reissue.
EU Fiscal Composer now generates the Spanish factura at check-out, correctly split between accommodation and breakfast VAT, and archives the PDF against the SiteMinder reservation. My accountant sends a thank-you note every quarter. That is not a sentence I expected to write.
Pau Ferrer i Cabot · Director, Palau de Fusta, Barcelona · 24 roomsVienna trains its hoteliers to be careful with automation. So when Hotelminder proposed the GuestJoy Concierge Expander I asked to see the templates. All 62 of them. The advisor sent them all, and I read them all — that hour convinced me. These are not the "Dear Valued Guest" boilerplate we get from other tools. They are written the way a discreet Viennese concierge would write them: warm, exact, quietly formal.
Six months later, WhatsApp is the channel through which most pre-arrival requests reach us. My chef gets his dietary notes 48 hours in advance. My reception knows the honeymoon room before the guest arrives. And nothing in the guest's inbox looks generated.

No slide deck, no procurement paperwork. An open conversation about which one or two modules from the shortlist fit your property, in which order, and whether any belong on the pilot pack. If the answer is none, that is also useful.
